10 More Real-Life Wrestling Feuds You Totally Didn't Know About
5. Chris Jericho Vs. Shotzi
One of the biggest concerns most up-and-coming wrestlers have about Twitter is using the tool properly. Few actually want to p*ss off those perceived to be higher up the food chain, and that often leads to "thanks for the match, bro" banter rather than anything with any substance.
Then, there's Shotzi - she decided to have a giggle at Chris Jericho's expense shortly after last year's AEW 'Blood & Guts' match. The WWE star couldn't resist posting a .GIF apparently mocking Jericho's lame-looking bump towards the end of the cage bout. It didn't take long for people online to start connecting the dots.
Jericho bit back via his podcast and said, "anybody that bags on somebody who’s taking a chance and putting their bodies on the line can really f*ck off". He wasn't done there. Jericho added that Shotzi (and Tegan Nox, who hadn't really done anything) would "probably be asking [AEW] for a job" within six months.
Shotzi, meanwhile, encouraged Chris to lighten up.
