3. John Cena Vs. Freddie Prinze Jr

John Cena has never really needed much help or direction when it comes to promos. Whether he's rapping or not, Cena's interviews have a passion and fire to them that's often sorely lacking in today's WWE product. That was the case back in the early-2010s too, which is why then-creative consultant Freddie Prinze Jr was so shocked by his behaviour.

Prinze Jr told Chris Van Vliet's show that Cena burst into one of his promo classes (which were exclusively for those on the roster struggling with their mic skills) and "sandbagged the whole thing". Furious, Freddie requested a private word with John outside the room and asked why he was interrupting.

Cena's response? "Maybe I’m a neanderthal, but you either have it or you don’t".

The wrestler then walked away in disgust, and things were frosty between he and Prinze Jr from that point on. It was obvious to Freddie that Cena didn't really like him in the first place anyway.
