He knew.

Long before the the lights and sirens of a rushing ambulance sped through the streets of Seattle 24 hours ahead of his WrestleMania 19 match with The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin was acutely aware that his encounter with 'The Great One' would be his last.

Notoriously private about the litany of injuries he'd been carrying, 'The Rattlesnake' only revealed to a minute few that his broken down frame was expediting his retirement.

As highlighted on the fabulous 'Mania Of WrestleMania' production shot in-house to support the WrestleMania 20 DVD boxset, Austin's health was worse than even he thought, with 'The Rattlesnake' contemplating his own mortality following a near-heart attack the night before his final battle. He awoke the morning of the show in a hospital bed, but checked himself out to ensure he'd hit his last competitive Stunners.

As he made the long last walk through the enormous Safeco Field, the back of his jacket was embossed with 'Bullet Proof' as if to display the relentless aggression of the 'Toughest S.O.B', but 'OMR' (One More Round) across the front tacitly acknowledged the stone cold truth.
