7. White And Gold Weekend

Bayley and Sasha Banks' NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn encounter was an instant classic - a template for how matches featuring females could and should be perceived in the forward-thinking organisation WWE masquerades as in the modern age.

The pair undoubtedly inspired a generation of young girls in a way generations of boys had been in the notoriously male-dominated industry. She was probably unaware that she was also setting a trend for some fellow victors that weekend.

Decked out in white and gold to match Shawn Michaels' WrestleMania 12 ascension, Bayley's scheme added sizzle to the steak of her world class effort with 'The Boss'. So much so that it was conveniently aped by both The New Day and Seth Rollins the very next night.

Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E would kickstart their record-breaking 478 day reign with the tag team titles at the event, whilst Seth Rollins would add the United States strap to his collection after winning a Title vs Title match against John Cena at the Brooklyn supershow. The villains hilariously posed with their newly-won prizes later that night, drawing a Twitter wave from 'The Hugger'.
