10 More Terrible Wrestlers With One Incredible Match
2. Ahmed Johnson (Chicago Street Fight)
Event: WWF WrestleMania 13
Here's a match that was incredible because of weapons and brawling.
Boot up WrestleMania 13 for another whirl and you'll smile at a young Rocky Maivia getting gently booed on the undercard. Then, you'll lap up the mind-blowing classic put on by Steve Austin and Bret Hart. Then, maybe you'll realise just how great a job this 'Chicago Street Fight' did of bridging the gap between that match and the main event.
Ahmed Johnson wasn't known for putting on great matches. The WWF tried (they really, really tried) with him, but ye olde master of the Pearl River Plunge was never going to become a sustainable headliner with any quality. That's what makes his alliance with LOD against The Nation Of Domination so stunning.
The sextet beat the hell out of one another, and Illinois lapped up every second. Ahmed's work alongside Shawn Michaels in tags (like at In Your House: International Incident) came close to taking him off this list, but nah - 'Mania 13 was his finest hour.
