Rascalz, for those unaware, is the preeminent rap group that busted the gates of the Canadian hip-hop market wide open, making way for the likes of Drake, Classified, Saukrates, and other creatively named artists. As some of the first Canadian rappers to hit the mainstream, their music and visual styles were dripping with northern aesthetics, including a healthy love of wrestling. This went so far as to name the penultimate song on their album Global Warming after the signature submission hold of one Bret 'Hitman' Hart.

The music video for Sharpshooter features the Rascalz wandering around and rapping their way through a vaguely futuristic, somewhat dystopian underground bunker. A masked scientist, who appears to own the place, isn't very happy with intruders in his happy space and activates a number of booby traps to evict them posthaste. About halfway through the video, it is revealed that the Rascalz went through this whole ordeal to free a captured Bret Hart and bring him back to an Impact ring.

What's weird about this video is everything about it. But as far as Bret Hart is concerned, what's strange is that while he famously lost his passion for wrestling after the Montreal Screwjob, he's super into his performance here. He's fist pumping, dancing around to the music, and even does a few moves all with a sincere grin on his face. This might be what he'd been waiting for to reignite his spirit.
