C.M. Punk is a noted fan of, you guessed it, punk music and has often touted his connections with various rock bands by appearing in more than a few music videos. One of these many cameo appearances was for the New York-based H2O in their video for their short single Nothing to Prove.

The video for the song, which lasts only a minute and a half, is an ode to the straight edge lifestyle that frontman Toby Morse shares with C.M. Punk. It features flashes of random, average people rocking out. One of those people just happens to be C.M. Punk, showing up for no more than a second at a time to cross his arms and look cool because that's just kind of what he does.

What's really weird about this video is how little he's featured. This song and video came out in 2009, which wrestling fans will remember as the year of the Summer of Punk.

He'd just been the World Heavyweight Champion, just broken Kevin Nash's Triple Crown record, and was about to launch his popular Straight Edge Society stable, all of which could have given the song, the band, and the video an added boost in exposure that could have launched it outside the confines of it's genre. Instead, C. M. Punk is completely wasted in brief flashes.
