10 MORE WWE Wrestlers Who Are Almost Unrecognisable Since Debuting
5. Tyler Bate
Part of what makes Bate's evolution so fascinating is that it has happened in such a short amount of time. Since becoming the first-ever United Kingdom Champion, losing it to Pete Dunne and taking a firm hold in NXT UK, he has grown into a virtually different person, purely through hair and body art. It's crazy to think that such seemingly subtle changes can make such a difference.
During Bate's early career in promotions like Chikara, WCPW and Progress, he sported an iconic Moustache, clean body look (i.e., no tattoos) and an overwhelming sense of youth. This carried over into NXT UK, where his young age seemed to play a major part in his build and appearance.
However, as of right now, he's no longer clinging to that, as a pretty impressively bushy beard accompanies his iconic moustache, alongside long hair and a tattoo sleeve. He still has all the classic vibes of his original self but no longer shares that clean and youthful look.
It seems that the older Tyler Bate gets, the more and more he looks like his tag partner Trent Severn. Not a bad way for a tag team to be.
