Not a lost classic or even a fondly remembered found one from their awesome 1997 series (more on that elsewhere), Bret Hart and The Undertaker very nearly did more damage to each other than during their prime in an extended angle of a contest on the 900th edition of Monday Night Raw.

Taking place deep into 2010's Nexus invasion of WWE, 'The Hitman' and 'The Deadman' were about to celebrate Raw's milestone by revisiting an unlikely lost classic even though it was widely known that Hart couldn't take punishment to his head and a WrestleMania 26 clunker with Mr McMahon removed any thirst to see it anyway.

For the fun of the graphic and the stand-off if nothing else, WWE promoted it as a top-of-the-hour clash all the same in an attempt to build heat on Nexus leader Wade Barrett's interruption. As was the style of the time, Barrett easily got despatched by the legends, before a lights off/lights on appearance by Kane resulted in a bizarre disappearing act by the 'Excellence Of Execution' and a fist fight between 'The Brothers Of Destruction' that played mostly to boos because fans realised the original advertised match was cut short.
