9. TLC II - WrestleMania XVII

Back when logical yet compelling booking reigned supreme at WWE. For well over a year, The Dudley Boyz, Edge and Christian, and The Hardy Boyz engaged in some of the most entertainingly death-defying matches in WWE history. Their ladder match at the previous WrestleMania was regarded as one of the best ever, before they upped the ante at SummerSlam 2000, introducing the first ever TLC match. This made the anticipation levels for TLC II through the roof, and the three teams certainly didn't disappoint. Has there ever been a match with more WrestleMania moments? Edge's spear of Jeff Hardy from the top of a ladder, Hardy's Swanton Bomb off a 16 ft ladder to Rhyno and Spike Dudley... There are too many to summarise in a short entry like this. It was a crying shame that the match had to end. But end it must, due to the fact the longer it went on the higher the chances of a fatality became. Riveting stuff.
