10 Most Anticipated Matches In WrestleMania History

4. The Undertaker Vs. Kane - WrestleMania XX

A bit of a shock? Don't be silly. This was as monumental night as Taker has seen during his most illustrious of careers as he made a return to the deadman gimmick that quite literally made him after four years as a biker. This was also the latest chapter in the sibling rivalry between The Phenom and his little brother, Kane. The best combined story line in WWE history. The slow build was utilised to the full here as the powers that be teased and tormented the WWE Universe for months as to the appearance of The Undertaker. This was after Taker lost a Buried Alive match against Vince McMahon thanks to Kane at the previous November's Survivor Series. WWE's creative team took the Conscience of the WWE's mystique to a whole new level as a number of scare tactics took place over a number of months. From the ring shaking, to it raining indoors, to fire being used in a number of ways, each 'moment' made the impending meeting between the siblings more intensified. Finally, when Mania 20 rolled round we were all left ever so slightly disappointed by Taker's appearance as it wasn't completely different from his biker ensemble. Nevertheless, he was back in the gimmick that got him over so highly with the masses over 13 years before. That's all that mattered. We even got more than a considerable slice of Paul Bearer too!
