10 Most Anticipated (Unlikely But Not Impossible) Wrestling Matches Of 2018

Ooh, now this is a tasty one.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Daniel Bryan has the added advantage of shaking up Shinsuke's lacklustre WWE career with a strong opponent. Not only that, it's the kind of match Bryan's mouth waters over; can the same really be said about a Street Fight with Shane McMahon?

Hardly.

If Bryan's inevitable in-ring comeback does happen under WWE's umbrella, then Nakamura is the ideal man for him to work with. Both guys know one another very well, boast strike-heavy styles that would mesh, and get on personally behind the scenes. Therefore, any matches they did have would also be devoid of political power plays.

Nakamura vs. Bryan would be simple, straightforward, beautiful pro wrestling. If WWE are feeling frisky, they could even turn "Shin" heel for the occasion. There's no chance fans would boo the returning Bryan anyway, so it'd make sense to have Shinsuke claim he'd be the one to end Daniel's career for good.
