10 Most Beautiful Belts In Wrestling History

4. WWE World Tag Team Championship

Perhaps WWE's early '90s World Tag Team Championship belt, which seems to depict an eagle cheating somewhat with a skipping rope, wouldn't appear quite so beautiful today if not relative to the slew of absolutely awful tag straps which have succeeded it.

As the lineage of the doubles division has gradually been eroded worse than a sand sculpture in a storm, the yearning for the years when the tag belts were both treated with respect and didn't look like giant novelty pennies has only increased. The Revival recently teased a return of the classic squashed oblong look when the gold was briefly under their possession, inspiring a string of similar calls. The past was just better, wasn't it?

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
