10 Most Believable Performers In WWE Today

9. Charlotte Flair

Wrestling has a dubious history with nepotism. AJ Lee once infamously stated that wrestling talent isn't sexually transmitted. It also isn't hereditary.

Sim Snuka, Shawn Stasiak - even Charlotte's brother David - all proved that sharing blood is decidedly not a guarantee of sharing wrestling talent. Charlotte, however, has broken the mould with her authentic performances. Her delivery is exceptional; the subtle effect of her rising, screeching inflection does so much to underscore her crowing, overbearing sense of privilege. Charlotte's character was afforded opportunities because of her father's greatness - and her shrill tone expertly mirrors the infuriating nepotism. Charlotte orates like the demanding princess her character is.

Favourable booking has helped her cause. Many have bemoaned the predictable Pay Per View pattern which has emerged since her main roster bow. Charlotte, simply, does not lose on the big stage. But that has enhanced her aura. Wins and losses matter in wrestling - and with each pinfall she picks up, the more convincing her act becomes.

Charlotte is the real boss of the women's division - and has risen to the top bracket of it by living up to the booking she has been afforded.
