10 Most BRUTAL Looking Finishers In Wrestling Today

8. The Young Bucks - BTE Trigger

The Young Bucks, in their current run reminiscent of their peak Pro Wrestling Guerrilla run in the early to mid-2010s, are so over-the-top cocky tw*ts that, instead of using the Meltzer Driver (a Tombstone Piledriver with a needlessly cocky somersault spike just because), they opt to instead use this as their go-to finish.

Why? Because of course they would. Their entire style is to take the piss.

The brothers Jackson’s BTE Trigger, almost in an attempt to one-up Kota Ibushi, is effectively a two-man version of The Golden Star’s sickeningly beautiful Kamigoye finish.

They each grab an arm of their victim, thus preventing them from protecting their face in any way. It’s the perfect set up. When Matt and Nick raise a knee, drilling both directly into opposing sides of the opponent’s skull, there’s no coming back from it. It’s so believable as a match-ender. The Bucks don’t take a step forward to drive their knees into the heads’, you see; they take a massive leap forward, directly putting their knees either side of, in the above example, John Silver’s skull. This keeps the momentum of the knee swing intact.

The (kayfabe) lack of protection from the Bucks renders the finish as dangerous as it is awesome.
