4. Charlotte Flair

Though nowhere near to the same, noxious extent, since Roman Reigns has earned renewed respect from wrestling fans, Charlotte Flair is next in line for the dreaded 'Super' treatment.

Charlotte receives "too many" opportunities in comparison to the rest of the roster. She's over-pushed, she's favoured by management, she's holding the rest of the locker room down, she's...

She's Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns is also great.

Ronda Rousey's WWE run was awesome, and her match against Charlotte was the best of the crop - a stunningly physical war of a sprint. It formed a larger pattern. Charlotte has wrestled the best match of Becky Lynch's main roster career (Evolution), Sasha Banks' main roster career (RAW, October 3, 2016), Bayley's (RAW, February 13, 2017), Asuka's (WrestleMania 34)...

Author's take: The transparent pursuit to accelerate through title reigns - just like her dad! - is a bit vexing, but so is the discourse. Charlotte is pushed because she is the best all-round talent in the Women's division. It's as if certain wrestling fans don't grasp what it means to be a star, a new change in attitude that is likely a byproduct from complete content exhaustion.
