10 Most Controversial Wrestlers On The Planet Right Now

2. Joey Ryan

Loved for his creative, lewd comedy spots, Joey Ryan is the "famous d*ck wrestler" who sent Twitter into meltdown after "suplexing" Danshoku Dino with his "penis" in 2015. The concept of a penis possessing the strength of an arm is absurd, and quite funny, but not, apparently, in the context of professional wrestling.

Jim Cornette despises the man, as does every pro wrestling fan of traditional leaning, because the move he has used to redefine wrestling as an industry with its own avant-garde sub-genres ruins the integrity of it, which is beyond oxymoronic, but there you go.

Ryan and Cornette resume their old, exhausting rivalry, every now and then, and deep down they realise it is mutually beneficial; Ryan's flirtation with the mainstream is all but over - "Khaaaaan!" - and Cornette maintains his relevance by taking Sprite sh*ts on his kind.

Author's take: Don't enjoy the act at all, personally, but wrestling is a vast, varied medium, and the fact that The Hottie And The Nottie exists doesn't in any way devalue Blade Runner, just like the existence of Ryan doesn't in any way detract from the magic spell cast in the best matches of 2019.
