One of the most over stars (of either gender) in the entire company in 1998, Sable was no stranger to controversy during her time with the WWE. Debuting as the humble valet of then-husband Marc Mero, she quickly eclipsed her spouse's popularity due to a series of risque segments (and the full backing of Vince McMahon, a man utterly obsessed with the diva's striking looks, if the shoot interviews of Jim Cornette are to be believed). Her infamous bikini contest segment, in which her "costume" was nothing more than a pair of painted handprints on her exposed breasts, will always be Sable's most memorable moment, but Vince is likely to remember her more for her explosive exit from the company in 1999 - and subsequent $110,000,000 lawsuit. The payment was reduced and settled out of court, and was made amidst allegations of sexual harassment and unsafe working conditions.
