10 Most Creative Wrestlers On The Planet Right Now

9. The Young Bucks

Being The Elite isn't quite what it was, but the renegade creative spirit remains strong in the brothers Jackson.

The recent 200th episode was an incredible reminder of this. They worked a match together. It was supposed to be a fun, creative endeavour pitched as a workaround to the ongoing crisis befitting a landmark episode. It was so much more than that because Nick and Matt Jackson can't not work a pulsating match even if they tried. The comedic set-pieces were inspired - the Canadian Destroyer off a diving board made for a great visual gag - but again, the balance and synchronised timing required to execute it was exceptional. And this was surely a flex: the spot monkey Bucks also told a story that underpinned the heightened farce.

The tone of the work was very feisty, as only sibling rivalries can be, and their amusing insistence on "being" wrestlers - Matt shotgunned Randy Savage at one point - was very much the sort of thing they definitely did in their youth.

This was an amazing spectacle - as much a serious fight between siblings as it was an affectionate and charming throwback to their days as kids.
