10 Most Dangerous WWE NXT Spots In History
6. Ricochet's Double Moonsault - NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2018
As you likely know by now, a match involving two rings, often filled with an excessive amount of unpredictable weapons, all surrounded by an unforgiving steel cage, tends to lead to the odd dangerous spot.
And that's precisely what we got during the 2018 iteration of NXT's TakeOver: WarGames event. Spears through tables, bodies thrown from ring-to-ring, and various stars being harpooned into the cage's walls, all made for one of the most gruelling encounters in the brand's history.
Yet, it was one particularly wild moment towards the end of this war, involving the "One and Only" Ricochet, which stole the entire TakeOver.
As the rest of the field tried to make their way back to their feet in the wake of a seismic super-plex/power-bomb spot, the ultimate daredevil prepped himself for one of the biggest risks of his career. And that is saying something. With his back to the teams below, Ricochet leaped backwards, producing not one, but two picture perfect moonsaults before colliding with his foes and allies.
Sure, Io Shirai's bin dive and Pat McAfee's aforementioned top of the cage senton in 2020 were both admittedly impressive, but we're still yet to see a WarGames spot as beautifully bananas as Ricochet's double back-flip into oblivion.
