2. JBL Takes A Bell To The Face

The rope is a weapon in and of itself. That's what Michael Cole kept reminding us when World Heavyweight Champion Batista fought JBL in a Texas Bull Rope match during an episode of SmackDown in 2005.

He was trying to explain the fact that Big Dave insisted on using the rope as a makeshift whip, instead of just clocking his opponent around the head with the extremely heavy bell attached to the end of it.

Of course, the real reason he couldn't start throwing that around is because getting a solid lump of steel smashed into your face would do some serious damage (hence Triple H always covers the end of his sledgehammer with his spare hand).

Just ask JBL. It happened to him during this very match, when Batista's whipping action caused the bell to swing right under the Wrestling God's midsection before bouncing up, hard, into his nose - which immediately began spraying blood. You may not like the former APA man, but he deserves enormous respect for finishing the match after suffering such a nasty blow.
