2. The "New Nation"

With an alarming frequency, a lot of wrestling fans attempt to manifest a "new" Nation of Domination that incorporates - yes! - every current black male star in WWE.

It's not racist in a malicious way, you'd hope - nobody is asking for a wrestler to take 23 seconds to pin Montez Ford or anything insane like that - but this idea, and countless people have suggested it over the years, further marginalises black talent. Montez Ford should simply be WWE Champion. The "new" Nation idea is a naive misunderstanding, if you like to see the good in people.

A Reddit user's "new" Nation idea was almost a satire of racism.

A half-remembered idea re-posted to SquaredCircle seven years ago put forward the idea of a new Nation with - f*ck off! - a "voodoo" element.

Led by the Boogeyman, who brought back Papa Shango, they together would recruit Kofi Kingston to the stable. And also - wat - Kamala, who would benefit from a magic spell and re-learn how to wrestle.

Look, this person was probably 14 years old or something, but still.

Demented.
