Disturbing due to how much it sucked... What a let down it was. Rumours of Jake 'The Snake' Roberts making a return to oversee The Ministry were sadly too good to be true. It was an angle that was lost in the bigger picture of McMahon vs. Austin, and didn't make any sense in doing so. The Ministry's motive was to take over the then WWF from Vince McMahon. So why would Vince then be the higher power directing The Undertaker to harm his own family? It was cited that McMahon did it as it would help to take down Stone Cold, but that tactic didn't make sense and overcomplicated things when a much simpler conclusion would have guided the story line on into a new direction and lengthened it significantly. Something that no WWE fan at the time would have begrudged surely? It's a shame The Ministry weren't around longer than they were. With a logical higher power in place, The Undertaker could have still taken the required time off to heal from his injuries and come back in the biker gimmick as he did. When the group was added to The Corporation it lost its luster and it simply wasn't the same. Is this ending a case of a what might have been, or WWE ending something while it was white hot and no room for decline? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcXhMSOLJKM
