10 Most Elaborate Mind Games WWE Superstars Ever Tried

9. "The Dead Will Rise Again"

Victim: Kane The first of Undertaker's three visits to this list sees his 2004 return to the classic Deadman persona take centre stage. After being buried alive by baby brother Kane at Survivor Series, a two-month silence ceased at the Royal Rumble with two simple strikes of 'Taker's trademark gong. It had been rumoured and here it was confirmed. The Deadman was coming back. Alike this year, WWE made the astute choice to keep 'Taker off of our screens until Wrestlemania XX itself, leaving two months of build-up to fill with no 'Taker. Their solution was to embark on a profound series of theatrical head games on Kane, including literally making it rain inside the arena and raising the entire ring off of the ground. All these displays concluded with the same creepy video package playing on the big screen: "In x amount of days... the dead will rise again." It was the beginning of the final chapter in Undertaker's storied career. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUhIfi2MjBU
