10 Most Elaborate Mind Games WWE Superstars Ever Tried
5. "He's Got The Whole World..."
Victim: John Cena This angle perhaps didn't work as well as WWE had hoped but you can't deny the intent. Bray Wyatt prepares to battle Undertaker at Wrestlemania 31 and has become the new standard bearer for psychological warfare in WWE. With his eerie promos, firefly lights and blackouts, Wyatt has displayed a lot of theatrics similar to Undertaker, particularly with the blackout and 'appearing' in the ring or around the arena. Without doubt Wyatt's biggest stretch though was in the form of three separate children's choirs, humming the hypnotic hymn that Wyatt made his own in 2014, completely surrounding John Cena in a cage with sheep masks. Going back to earlier, the key to these angles is belief. WWE didn't do enough to make the fans believe in Bray Wyatt during this period and it led to some fans rejecting this segment. Had a similar event occurred ten years earlier, it would've worked much better. It lists here due to the resources WWE expended to make it happen and due to it's uniqueness, regardless of eventual execution. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CR6yVUxXnyA
