1. Rob Van Dam - Possession Of Marijuana (While Holding The WWE and ECW Heavyweight Championshps)
One June 11, 2006, then-ECW World Heavyweight Champion Rob Van Dam defeated John Cena for the WWE Heavyweight Championship at ECW's One Night Stand Pay Per View. However, a mere 22 days later on July 3rd, Van Dam (along with fellow veteran ECW superstar Sabu) was arrested in Ohio on charges of marijuana after being pulled over for speeding. Of course, Van Dam lost both titles on the following week's broadcasts of WWE Raw and ECW, was suspended for 30 days, and since that point has never been pushed when employed by WWE as anything more than a mid-card talent. In a case of a "risky" decision costing a corporation public humiliation, this was not just an embarrassing arrest for Van Dam (and for the forward progression of his career), but for WWE as a company, too.
