10 Most Embarrassing Falls From Grace In WWE
1. Bray Wyatt
Not wanting to end this list on a downer, let's finish up with a tale of redemption.
Given the current adulation surrounding Bray Wyatt, it's astonishing to think about how damaged the character was before his resurrection as The Fiend last year. Watching the Eater of Worlds become Jobber to Veterans was painful to witness, the nadir being when he dropped the WWE championship to Randy Orton in one of the worst world title matches in Wrestlemania history.
Wyatt would flounder around the roster in the aftermath. He attacked Seth Rollins for... reasons, feuded with Finn Balor (the highlight/lowlight of which was him dressing up in drag to cut a promo as Sister Abigail), engaged in excruciating laugh offs with Matt Hardy before forming a tag team with him... after such aimless booking is it any wonder Wyatt had to hit the reset button and start over?
Miraculously, Wyatt has beaten the odds and WWE's booking to become arguably the hottest act in professional wrestling today. As cringeworthy as his fall from grace was, his subsequent redemption has been every bit as heartening and a reminder that sometimes, just sometimes, it's possible for a superstar to make their way back up the mountain top..
