10 REAL Reactions From WWE Wrestlers Being Punished On Air

8. Enzo Amore (SummerSlam 2017)

Enzo Amore often sported bug-eyed belligerence in his role as the bothersome babyface sidekick of Big Cass, but he had other things to worry about soon after their split in 2017.

The pair were parted after Cass was revealed as Amore's mystery attacker in a routine whodunnit angle. It was the last point the storyline followed any typical pro wrestling logic. Amore remained the supposed babyface, but the entire story was only being told on screen to put Enzo in his place backstage. He was to lose with ease to his former friend, then remain on the losing side with new buddy The Big Show while suspended in a Shark Cage.

But why would a babyface interfere? Why would the good guy need to go in a device designed to block the baddies? Why force him to humiliate himself just to escape? Just when you don't have the answers, WWE change the kayfave questions.

Enzo was suspended up high because in real life didn't like heights. The fear he exhibited before dropping right into a big boot from Cass was as real as it got. This wasn't an angle playing out on screen but a bullish b*llocking - a company using prison bars in the hope an unruly inmate would be scared straight.
