10 Most Exciting Run-ins In WWE History
4. The Undertaker (Judgment Day 2000)
Three years after falling victim to Kane’s emergence at Badd Blood, The Undertaker would try his own hand at this interference malarkey.
While this obviously didn’t represent ‘Taker’s debut, it was nonetheless the site of the most drastic twist his character has seen; the Deadman reinvented himself as the motorcycle-riding, leather jacket and bandana-wearing American Badass.
The run-in itself would arrive during the Rock’s Iron-man match against Triple H, with the scores tied at 5-5 and just a few minutes remaining on the clock. Rather than prompting the usual Undertaker “lights-out” technique though, this time an eerie message simply started playing on the TitanTron, closing with that chilling “he’s here” line as ‘Taker balled down to the ring atop a shiny, swanky motorbike.
Taking to the ring, he then rewrote the definition of “cleaning house” as big boots, right hands and chokeslams were dished out to X-Pac, Road Dogg, Shane and Vince McMahon.
Ultimately, a slight issue on the timing of it all meant that the conclusion to the Ironman match was initially left in doubt, but guest referee Shawn Michaels soon set the record straight.
Don’t let that diminish the Undertaker’s run-in though, which was one of the most dominant we’ve seen in WWE history.
