10 Most Exciting Second Generation Talents In Wrestling Today
9. Xia Brookside
For the past few years, NXT UK was quietly developing the next generation of European talent, with Xia Brookside being amongst the most promising performers on the brand. The Scouse star first competed for WWE as part of the second Mae Young Classic when she was still a teenager and would help form part of the original NXT UK women's division.
It is fair to say that Xia has not yet reached the high bar her father Robbie Brookside set in his acclaimed career. However, there have been glimpses of quality in matches against the likes of Amale, Jinny, and Meiko Satomura that have shown Xia's development as part of the WWE system.
It is a shame that Brookside has since been let go by the company as part of its transition towards NXT Europe, as she is still only 23 years old with loads of room to improve. This will hopefully just be a setback in what will be a long and prosperous career, as many fans will be eager to see what she does next.
