10 Most Hated Wrestlers Of All Time

8. Kevin Nash

A lot of sh*t converged to frame Kevin Nash as a panto villain, including, it must be said, Kevin Nash.

Nash was a tall guy who could go when he was bang up for it - a 1994 Action Zone Kliq tag team match is held aloft by hardcore wrestling fans as one of greatest obscure matches ever - but that height saw him get Scott Keith'd in his prime.

Nash, with a clear relish, was also very keen on blaming shorter, less outsized pro wrestlers - i.e. those lionised as geniuses by the hardcore fandom - for the decline of the industry's popularity. This clearly didn't help his perception among them, who were quick to point out Diesel's bomb of a WWF Title run. But Nash was always were self-effacing about that - likely because he was a megastar a year later, for the enemy organisation - which probably pissed them off all the more. There's a limit to Nash's genuinely amusing patter - never before has a man who starred in wrestling taken it less seriously - and that is accelerating the death throes of big-time U.S. wrestling. That was a bit sh*t, as was his inexplicable involvement in the Summer of Punk.

But then again most of that was sh*te anyway.
