10 Most Hated WWE Superstars Right Now

Honorable Mention: CM Punk

CM Punk is a strange proposition right now: he is no longer a Superstar and is still loved by a great number of WWE fans, but for the rest, he has become public enemy number one. For those fans, he is a traitor who walked away from a great main event career as a top guy, a spot that he earned thanks to the crowd that supported him and paid to see him. And now, he's smiling and laughing on the red carpet claiming that he's never coming back to WWE. While that may have seemed like a slap in the face to some, the truth is that Punk was burned out. He had been performing at a very high level for nearly three straight years with very little time to breathe, much less heal. Punk was a workhorse in the company, consistently out-wrestling nearly everyone in the locker room and he did it all while wearing the moniker of Best in the World. A perfectionist, Punk put more pressure on himself than the company or the fans ever did and all he wanted was to prove he was the best every night of the week, putting his life and personal happiness aside for the business that he loved. When he decided to leave, get married and move on with his life? A vocal section of the fanbase turned on him, and unfortunately, that will likely not change anytime soon.
