Ignore for a moment the fact Undertaker's legendary WrestleMania winning streak didn't become a 'thing' until he was around 10-0, and pretend the run doesn't include such stinkers as matches against King Kong Bundy and Giant González. Taking all that into account, that it was still enormous when it was ended at WrestleMania XXX speaks volumes.

Although a handful of fans have claimed otherwise since, very few could accurately claim to have predicted a Brock Lesnar win before 6 April 2014. The streak sat at 21-0, for crying out loud. There was no way WWE or 'Taker would allow it to be beaten before he retired, or so we all thought.

This was Undertaker's legacy. He was unbeaten at WWE's biggest annual event, and it seemed certain that'd be his bragging right after hanging up the tights. 'Taker had other ideas, but by staring at the lights for a friend he lost a chunk of his aura.

Has Undertaker's appeal been the same since? Not really.
