10 Most Hilarious WWE Superstar Pranks

7. A Crown Fit For The King

Many in the industry couldn't believe their eyes when Jerry Lawler, the biggest draw in Memphis, decided to work for the WWF in 1992. Not only was he surrendering creative/booking control to Vince McMahon (and becoming just another wrestler in the process) but he also had to work with many guys who had heat with him. See, when Lawler was booking the USWA territory, he would often give rookie wrestlers terrible paycheques. There are stories of guys being paid in food stamps and having to survive by eating bags of potatoes when working for Lawler. So, when he got to the WWF, payback was inevitable. During the 1994 Royal Rumble, somebody (or a group of people) took a s*** in Lawler's crown when he left it backstage. Bobby Heenan outed The Undertaker as a culprit, while Jim Cornette and Paul Bearer claimed it was Steve Keirn. Other versions of the story have it being the Kliq. In fact, it more than likely happened more than once. Raven and The Honky Tonky Man revealed during a shoot interview that the company had to send a memo around asking people to stop pooping in King's crown.
