7. Firing Him From The WWE

On the one hand, it's easy to see why the WWE might not have been too happy about Daniel Bryan strangling Justin Roberts with his own tie in the PG-Era. Was it really so bad that he deserved to be fired though? Plenty of WWE Superstars have performed acts which were just as violent, both non-scripted and scripted, so what made this one so different? It's because he's Daniel Bryan. Despite the amazing work he had done in Ring of Honor and any number of other independent promotions, it's obvious that the company couldn't have cared less about any of that. To so nonchalantly fire him is just another example of a lack of respect for Bryan, and being fired for something so inconsequential is embarrassing. Based on how every other Nexus member has done, it was probably for the best though...
