This isn't necessarily the fault of the WWE, but they can take at least some of the blame for putting Stephanie in a position where she would have to deal with this from an employee!

Some fans at the time believed that AJ Lee slamming Stephanie McMahon on Twitter for not giving Divas a chance (in regards to their wages and screen time) as the beginning of a feud between the two, something which had been teased a number of times over the years.

That simply wasn't the case though, and after a painfully formal reply to AJ, Stephanie was no doubt left fuming, something which was apparent when Y2J asked about the incident during a recent interview on his podcast. When Stephanie sent out a Tweet to Patricia Arquette about her campaign for equal rights for women, there's no way she could have ever expected someone who works for her to reply and embarrass her in front of millions.

It's not hard to imagine rules on how WWE Superstars and Divas conduct themselves on social media possibly being tightened up after this particular incident anyway...
