10 Most Important Questions Facing WWE In 2015

7. €œWrestleMania XXXI €“ What€™s Going To Happen?€

A great many WWE fans only buy one Pay Per View a year, WrestleMania. The event, then, is a great way to pick up new/lapsed fans by showcasing the WWE product at its very best. WWE seems to be building towards a Cena/Lesnar main event at WrestleMania XXXI, which will likely be both predictable and bland to watch. Lesnar will be picking up a paycheque and Cena will be doing what we€™ve seen him do hundreds of times before, winning the match with his patented €˜five moves of doom€™ and leaving the building as The Champ. Again. As main events go though, that€™s probably the best way to play it. Besides, its probably too late to do anything else now, anyway. What WWE should be doing, however, is augmenting the rest of the card with some real surprises. Lets see some NXT talent being €˜called up€™ to the main roster and getting to debut in front of WWE€™s biggest crowd of the year. Yeah, Lesnar vs. Cena might not be your cup of tea, but show me someone who wouldn€™t pay good money to watch Kevin Owens, Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn and others mix it up with WWE€™s main roster on the biggest stage of them all. A surprise win here could really make a new star very quickly, in addition to building a solid fanbase from the ground up. WrestleMania XXXI is the perfect opportunity to showcase the WWE€™s fresh talent reservoir, so that audiences in 2015 are pumped and primed to watch a newer, more exciting WWE product. So, what else can they do to invigorate their cards? On to the next question...

I am a professional author and lifelong comic books/pro wrestling fan. I also work as a journalist as well as writing comic books (I also draw), screenplays, stage plays, songs and prose fiction. I don't generally read or reply to comments here on What Culture (too many trolls!), but if you follow my Twitter (@heyquicksilver), I'll talk to you all day long! If you are interested in reading more of my stuff, you can find it on http://quicksilverstories.weebly.com/ (my personal site, which has other wrestling/comics/pop culture stuff on it). I also write for FLiCK http://www.flickonline.co.uk/flicktion, which is the best place to read my fiction work. Oh yeah - I'm about to become a Dad for the first time, so if my stuff seems more sentimental than usual - blame it on that! Finally, I sincerely appreciate every single read I get. So if you're reading this, thank you, you've made me feel like Shakespeare for a day! (see what I mean?) Latcho Drom, - CQ
