1. Jon Moxley

The undisputed most valuable player in all of AEW has been and will continue to be Jon Moxley for the foreseeable future. Mox has created a legacy in the promotion that is unparalleled at this point as the three-time AEW World Champion has earned the top spot that he continues to preside over.

His debut at Double Or Nothing 2019 immediately set the tone for the redemptive run the former Dean Ambrose was about to set out on, honing his sights immediately on the AEW World Championship held by Chris Jericho. After defeating 'Le Champion' and becoming the second holder of the title, Moxley would go on to have what should be considered one of the best and most important title reigns in recent times.

His turn with the AEW title throughout 2020 could have been derailed by the pandemic, but the Cincinnati native proceeded to have one of the greatest reigns under awful circumstances. Matches against Brodie Lee, Darby Allin, MJF, Eddie Kingston, and Lance Archer made Moxley feel like every bit of the fighting champion he claimed to be.

After losing the title he still felt like the best wrestler in the world and after forming the Blackpool Combat Club alongside Willaim Regal and Bryan Danielson he has gone on to win the accolade two more times in 2022. Fans should savor Jon Moxley whilst he is still around as his AEW run should be considered amongst the best and most influential of any performer in history.
