Once grossly miscast with a go-nowhere eco-warrior gimmick in NXT, Juice Robinson has become one of the modern era's greatest post-WWE success stories.

The former CJ Parker's career has gone through the roof in 2017. He looked out of his depth after first signing with NJPW, but has since developed into one of wrestling's purest babyfaces, and a genuinely marketable commodity in the hottest promotion on the planet.

It started in January, when Robinson was a regular highlight in multi-man tags, elevating these usually faceless bouts with fire, passion, and fighting spirit. His improvements won him an IWGP Intercontinental Title shot against Tetsuya Naito in April, and escalated throughout the summer. No longer an in-over-his-head young boy, Robinson's popularity was soaring, and so was his credibility, with Juice scoring a potentially career-defining win over Kenny Omega in the G1 Climax.

Robinson followed this up with another star-making performance against 'The Cleaner' in September. He'll have to be patient in his wait for a lengthy singles push, but it'll come eventually.

Full of in-ring charisma, energy, and personality, Juice is an absolute blast to watch, and his ongoing development has been a low-key highlight in NJPW's stellar 2017.
