10 Most Improved Wrestlers Of The Past Decade

5. Lashley

WWE's usage of Bobby Lashley was more confusing than anything else. While the company ostensibly wanted him to be a star (he was put into the most-hyped match at WrestleMania 23), he was never given any of the character development that would take him to the next level. Not long after WrestleMania, he was put on the sidelines with an injury, and he ended up leaving the company due to a dispute.

Lashley wound up in TNA, but his tenure was short-lived - he soon decided to devote more time to mixed martial arts, only occasionally competing in pro wrestling bouts. In 2014, however, he returned to TNA full time, pursuing both pro wrestling and MMA.

Since then, he's racked up four reigns as TNA World Heavyweight Champion, as well as universal acclaim. His work, both in and out of the ring, has allowed him to become the company's MVP, and as a heel, he's been better than ever.
