Take this one with a pinch of Hogan, as one Terry Bollea is the key source on this story. If you believe Hulk, however, Mr. T almost failed to show up for the super-important WrestleMania I main event - a move that would've left one of the most vital shows in WWE history in tatters.

And no, it had nothing to do with Bruiser Brody or a bounty.

'The Hulkster' claimed that the A-Team star was worried about the damage competing against Paul Orndorff and Roddy Piper might do to his perceived "tough guy" image. He got cold feet. An alleged backstage confrontation with Dave Schultz at a house show compounded this, with Hulk stating that T was "getting really sketchy, he was really getting kind of nervous."

In a move that should surprise absolutely nobody whatsoever, Hogan paints himself as the hero in his version of the story. He talked T round and convinced him to perform. It was alright on the night, Hulk and Mr. T took the W as planned, and while Hogan's story may be true, you know... a pinch of Hogan.
