3. Savage Rages At Shawn & Razor (WrestleMania X)

An important touchstone in wrestling history, Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania X was the first ladder match to ever air in WWE, with 1992's Michaels vs. Bret Hart clash largely unseen until the release of 2007's The Ladder Match DVD. It was hailed as an instant classic from the moment the final bell rang and is well worth revisiting in 2020, despite the stipulation's evolution towards something riskier, more dangerous, and spot-laden.

One guy who wasn't totally thrilled with what went down was Randy Savage, who'd wrestled Crush earlier in the night and ripped into HBK and Razor when they came through the curtain. Their crime? Running over their allotted time, thus depriving others. A 10-man tag featuring the likes of Bob 'Sparky Plugg' Holly, 1-2-3 Kid, Jeff Jarrett, and others was scrapped as a result.

Holly's version of the story is that Savage was furious that Michaels and Ramon had deliberately ignored the referee as they were being fed timing cues. This shows the other side of a match many consider one of the most important in WWE history: a classic, but it came with a b*llocking.
