10 Most Innovative High Flying Wrestlers

3. Jushin Thunder Liger

As the legend goes, Keiichi Yamada was a starving youngster who was deemed too small to train at the New Japan Dojo until officials took pity and let him in. Though the name would come later, it was on that day Jushin Thunder Liger was born. Trained in the toughest wrestling schools the world has ever known, Jushin Liger was first and foremost an inhumanly tough wonder-kid of the strong style of wrestling. The ferocity of his powerbombs and suplexes were worthy of a man twice his size and usually capable of destroying competitors of such a stature. Yet it was when Liger took flight that the world stopped to watch in awe. The sight of this man dressed like a comic book character flying through the air with the greatest of ease was indescribable, especially when he was performing one of his own creations such as the shooting star press. Liger's abilities have kept him in high demand for almost thirty years, and every time he steps in the ring the man puts on a performance that shows he's still got it.
