We need to preface this by saying, as it pertains to WWE's War Games Matches, there have been a number of obviously better spots - for example, Ricochet's double Moonsault in 2018. For 2020's men's match, though, Pat McAfee stole the show in just his second match.
Teaming with Oney Lorcan, Danny Burch, and Pete Dunne to battle The Undisputed Era in the double cage structure, McAfee was tremendous. His case for Rookie of the Year was strengthened because of his performance, from begging for his life against UE to being a cocky little sh*t. He's one of those guys you just want more from, and so his senton off the cage onto everyone else below was a major highlight of this year's selection of TakeOvers.
This isn't what you expect to see from someone's second outing.
Obviously, he's never going to be NXT Champion, but you know you're getting something special from big Pat when he steps foot in a ring. Keeping his in-ring encounters to a minimum is a key essential to ensure McAfee's face never tires the viewers.
To repeat, he's had two matches thus far - he shouldn't be offering up GIFs like this quite yet. To think, this all stemmed from a controversial edition of his show.
