10 Most Insane Wrestling Spots Of 2020
7. Leap Of Faith - WWE WrestleMania 36: Night One (4 April)
It's ironic, in a way, that WrestleMania was the first major pro wrestling event to go on behind closed doors as opposed to playing out in front of a packed crowd at Raymond James Stadium. Regardless of this, everyone on the two-night extravaganza tried their best to make the weekend still feel special.
Two men who went a step above the others, though, were Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins.
Their WrestleMania showdown is one of a handful that could have been far better with a live crowd to lap it all up, but Owens and Rollins still offered up a genuine WrestleMania moment. That moment was, of course, Owens diving off the huge WrestleMania sign onto a prone 'Monday Night Messiah' lying atop the announce desk.
Can you imagine that with 80,000+ fans in attendance to pop their socks off? These are the sort of moments that make a WrestleMania the spectacle they are.
Needless to say, WrestleMania was nowhere near on the level we had expected it to be at the start of the year, but it did two massively important things; it set WWE up for a string of enjoyable pay-per-views throughout the 2020 empty arena era, and it gave Kevin Owens his 'Mania moment.
