1. Shelton Benjamin Crashes Through A Ladder (WrestleMania 24)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAxvZhHmgVQ Since Shelton Benjamin's name has appeared in nearly every slide on this list, it's only fitting that he steals in at the top for the most insane moment in the history of WWE Money in the Bank ladder matches. He's long gone from WWE, but Benjamin undeniably left his mark before setting off on the Independent circuit. Shelton is one of the most acrobatic and gifted athletes we've seen in WWE since the turn of the century, but it was at WrestleMania 24 where he took this super-painful-looking dive through a ladder. The match itself was packed with incident. John Morrison had already pulled off that moonsault (mentioned earlier) to the outside with ladder in hand, while Shelton managed to flip-powerbomb Mr. Kennedy from a ladder with Morrison attached for a suplex. So that looked rather cool too. But as Shelton climbed the ladder to reach for the coveted briefcase later on, Kennedy and Carlito caught up to him. Earlier in the match, a ladder was sat horizontally down resting on the barricade outside and the edge of the ring, and Kennedy and Carlito tilted Shelton's ladder upwards - leaving him no choice but to front flip over and use the resting ladder as his crash landing. Incredible stuff. Unsurprisingly, Shelton was done for by that point. CM Punk went on to win, and to this day that match is probably the finest in Money in the Bank history. Are there any insane incidents from Money in the Bank matches you feel should be included? Let us know with your comments!
