10 Most Legit Tough Guys In Wrestling

6. Brock Lesnar

Does anyone realistically have to question Brock Lesnar's toughness? Seriously? The Beast Incarnate is a badass who looks the part and backs it up with his pummeling of opponents on the mat, in the ring and the octagon. A former NCAA champion, he bowled over the competition before making his way to WWE, where he wasted little time becoming the promotion's heavyweight champion. It was not until he arrived in UFC that Lesnar saw his reputation as one of the toughest wrestlers on the planet blossom. He took his fair share of shots and was not without losses. But fans paid to see him pummel guys like Frank Mir and Shane Carwin. In the latter's case, he endured a dozen or so punches directly to the face, got back up and tapped Carwin out. What makes Lesnar tougher than hundreds of mixed martial artists? He did it while suffering from diverticulitis so bad that he had to have an inch-and-a-half of his intestines removed. Despite the life-threatening condition, he returned to the octagon. Did he win? No, but the fact that he got back to fighting at all is a testament to his toughness. That he continues to have a wrestling career, and delivers the quality matches that he has since 2012, only further establishes Lesnar as a legitimate tough guy who no one in their right minds would ever dare cross. In front of thousands of fans in the ring or dozens of co-workers behind the scenes.
