https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3drUgkEnbM From the moment WWE's reality program Total Divas was announced, Brie and Nikki Bella were positioned as the stars of the show. Sure, Natalya, Naomi and Cameron were part of the show, as were rookie Eva Marie and JoJo but the twins were clearly the selling point. Their relationships with marquee stars Daniel Bryan and John Cena hooked the female viewers while backstage footage and intimate looks into the real personalities of the sisters helped attract wrestling and non-wrestling fans alike. Their images were all over marketing materials and great emphasis was put on push the Bellas to the forefront. The show catapulted Brie and Nikki into the mainstream. They became recognizable outside of the wrestling ring and enjoyed their greatest exposure in it. There was rarely an episode of Raw or SmackDown in which they did not appear or compete. In the process, they developed into far better workers than they had ever been. Brie displayed great babyface fire while Nikki resorted to more power-based maneuvers. Their work between the ropes coupled with the exposure that Total Divas gave them resulted in the biggest push of the Bella Twins' careers, a push that continues as the show enters its third season.
