10 Most METAL Wrestlers Of All Time
1. The Butcher
The biggest no brainer in the history of no brainers. The Butcher plays in one of the world's premium metal bands, he looks like a drawing of a 'metal' character come to life, and he is called The Butcher. It doesn't really get more metal than that.
Andy Williams has lived an incredible life, and he should serve as an inspiration for anyone looking to embark on a new path at an advanced age. Williams has been playing the guitar in Every Time I Die since the very beginning, partnering the Buckley brothers in creating one of metal's great back catalogues, eight albums that managed to be distinct yet undeniably ETID all at the same time.
Then, at the age of 38, Williams embarked on a professional wrestling career. It isn't that simple, obviously, as Williams had actually done some training before he even learnt to play the guitar but there's a difference between doing some training and becoming an integral part of a mainstream weekly wrestling show. Williams has excelled in music and is always improving in wrestling. It is quite the story.
It also helps that the dude is 6'3" and built like the proverbial brick sh*thouse. Having Josh Barnett as a trainer was the cherry on the pie, or maybe the steak on top of a big pile of meat. Cause he's a butcher, you know.
