Fans have gotten glances of Heath Slater's ability to entertaining during his time with 3MB and are currently enjoying his run with Titus O'Neil but to really understand just how misused and under-appreciated Slater's abilities are, one must look no further than the Youtube exclusive "JBL and Cole Show," in which Slater portrays the character of Clem Layfield. Clem is the clueless putz nephew of JBL and regularly finds himself involved in hilarious situations in which he is left bumbling and stumbling all over the place. It is a showcase for one of the most entertaining and enjoyable stars on the roster. Unlike Santino Marella, whose over-the-top comedy can be overbearing at times, Slater is much more natural and free-flowing. People are finally getting to see some of Slater's abilities, thanks to the increased television exposure he has enjoyed in recent weeks. Still, there is plenty of untapped potential in Slater. Until WWE Creative comes up with a story or a feud that helps him shake the jobber status he earned while losing to masked midgets, he will never be perceived as anything but a laugh-inducing enhancement talent.
